Hours of Operation:
The office is staffed Monday through Friday. Your comments and inquiries are appreciated. However, staff may not be able to respond to all inquiries the same day.

* Individuals subject to the Ethics Act and members of the public may request informal advice about the Ethics Act from the Ethics Committee staff. The request may be by phone, mail, email or fax. The response will be in writing if requested. Although staff advice is given in good faith, it does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the members of the Ethics Committee and it is not binding on the committee. Informal advice is cleansed of all identifying information and reviewed by the Ethics Committee at their next meeting. Only individuals subject to the Ethics Act may request a formal, binding advisory opinion pursuant to AS 24.60.160. See Advisory Opinions web page.
