Mr. Turner has served on the Committee since 2006, and is a registered
Republican. He is the Director of the Kenai Peninsula College, a
community campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage with sites in Soldotna, Homer, Anchorage, and Seward. Mr. Turner has 31 years of experience in communication, university administration, public affairs and teaching. He is a retired U.S. Air Force officer, served as a NASA program manager and a senior vice president with the world's largest public relations company. Mr. Turner holds a masters degree in Mass Communication and pursued doctoral coursework in Speech Communication. He is very active in his community and serves on numerous boards. Mr. Turner serves as vice-chair of the House Subcommittee for the term 2011-2012. His term expires January 2013. |
